Whats in our barn?
Our 400-year-old stone barn sleeps a maximum of 12 people. It features a double height, stone flagged main room which houses an ESSE eco Iron heart which is a stove and an oven. There is a large dining table, 2 sofas and additional seating. A staircase on either side of the building lead to 2 mezzanine sleeping levels. These levels have wooden floors and balustrades. The barn has some central heating in addition to the log burner. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-ring stove, a microwave with grill, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer and a full set of pots, pans, utensils, plates, cutlery etc. There are 2 showers with lots of hot water and 2 toilets, one with disabled access. There is a door leading to the private garden where in the summer you can enjoy soaking up the warm sun in the south facing garden. Parking for 5 cars on site. We now have our own EV charging point too. Wi-fi is included.
Up tp 2 dogs are allowed by prior arrangement. There is an additional £15 per stay charge for this.

Charge My Street
Charge My Street are a social enterprise that operates electric vehicle chargepoints across England. This chargepoint at Dale House Barn is part of a new project ‘Charge While You Sleep’, allowing overnight hospitality venues to allow their guests to charge their EV. Sleeping
We provide single mattresses on both sleeping levels which can be positioned on those levels to suit your groups needs. You will need to bring sleeping bags or suitable bedding and towels. Large windows overlook the meadow.
Eating
Groups can self cater or take advantage of having some delicious meals cooked for them. We can provide full breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals, using amazing local produce. Just ask for more details as the menu changes with the seasons.
Cooking
There is a small but well-equipped kitchen. In addition, the ESSE iron heart in the main room of the barn is an oven too. There is a BBQ area outside in the garden.
Cost and Booking
The barn costs £275 per night. It must be booked for a minimum of 2 nights. Christmas and new year prices vary. It sleeps a maximum of 12 people. Please use the widget above to check availability and book.

Dogs at Dale house
We welcome up to 1 well behaved dog in the barn and 1 in the farm house. We require that dogs are kept on leads and under full control at all times as there are free range chickens and there is often livestock in the fields surrounding the house.
Dogs staying in the house should bring their own towel, food bowls and bed. They will need to be clean and dry before going in any of the bed rooms and should not be left unsupervised.
There is an additional £15 per stay charge for dogs in both the barn and B&B.
