Day 1 will be a skills day based in Gisburn Forest which will include

  • Reading the trail and making good line choices to maintain flow and momentum through advanced trail features
  • Building speed through effective cornering
  •  Intro to bunny hops and step overs
  • Technical climbing - black grade trails and features
  • Mastering drop offs
  • Pumping and jumping the bike
You should be confident on most red grade trails, but looking to master, rather than just survive more difficult red features and also black grade trail sections.

Day 2 will be a 25 mile guided route (approximate and dependant on wether conditions) with plenty of ascent and descent in the stunning Yorkshire Dales to consolidate the skills learned in day 1.
